Description
Tillandsia Usneoides, known as Old Man's Beard, is a rootless epiphytic plant that absorbs water and nutrients directly from the air and humidity. With thin, grayish, hanging leaves, it grows on tree branches and spreads naturally with the help of wind and birds.
It inhabits humid tropical regions and, in ideal conditions, can reach 1 to 2 meters in length. Its origin extends from the southeastern United States to Argentina.
